Welcome to Meg's Bar!

Meg's Bar is the brewery tap and part of the main brewery building.  From the bar, you can see into the state of the art brewery, and into the cask washing area.  Meg's Bar offers the  all year round Springhead Beers and the monthly seasonal beer, together with wine, a real cider, Freedom lager, soft drinks and light snacks.  The bar operates a "try before you buy" policy, so you can be sure of enjoying every beer.

The bar will also house the Springhead gift shop with a range of Springhead memorabilia and gifts suitable for all ages, and beer to take away.

It is traditionally furnished with a friendly atmosphere and is used as a start and finish for the brewery tours.  Visitors are welcome to bring their children, and well behaved dogs are an essential part of the atmosphere.  Daily newspapers are available, so why not drop in for a well earned pint and a quiet sit down with the paper?

Andy is beginning a quiz night following local demand, so look out for the times on the A Board outside the brewery.

Meg’s Bar will be open as follows:

Thursday and Friday  4 - 11 p.m. 

Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. 

Sunday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. (ish)
